Hewa-Teck is an advanced IoT-based environmental sensing platform created to monitor air pollution emitted by internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. The device is tailored for use on public transport such as commercial buses, providing real-time data on environmental pollutants in high-traffic urban areas.
Equipped with precision sensors for detecting CO₂, NOₓ, PM2.5, and PM10, Hewa-Teck captures critical data which is processed using a low-power STM32-based firmware. Data is then sent over cellular networks to a cloud dashboard for visualization and long-term analysis.
This data-driven approach allows urban planners, environmental agencies, and clean mobility advocates to assess the environmental impact of ICE-powered vehicles, informing policy and supporting the transition to greener alternatives.
